Amazing images! I like the idea of using the soft focus aperture with the double glass optic. Your Lensbaby work is so lovely. Thanks for sharing :)

Tim I know that many people separate photography and art as not being in the same league but in my mind they are the same. They both require creativity, knowledge of your tools (be they paints or knowing your camera), a feel for composition and light and a passion for what you are creating (if you're doing it properly). I've seen those who think that beautiful photography is not art and photographers who think that any post processing beyond the very basics spoils "true" photography.

"I" don't think there is a dividing line between art and photography. I look at images as to how they move me, not how they were crafted (other than a curiosity rising from a thirst for more knowledge). I think that there are many artists and poets looking through the lens of their cameras and recording what is inside of them rather than just recording an image. Roxanne

Really gorgeous! You're getting some beautiful subtle tonalities. I think my favorite is the first flower - although they are all beautiful. xx

Really beautiful, Doug. You know that does put me in mind of Africa. When I first saw the photos that's what I thought. Wonderful colors and DOF.
